When you decide to join Musical Mayhem, you will be getting so much more out of your learning experience. We have been a leading Musical Theatre School since 2014, and have grown our service offerings with each passing year. Check out all of the amazing classes we provide below.
Musical Mayhem Theatre Academy
Term Time Classes and Holiday Workshops for children aged 3-18
Musical Mayhem Theatre Academy teaches children aged 3 -18 singing, dancing and acting, whilst having fun. Children attend these classes parent free.
At Musical Mayhem we love performing and have at least two productions every year, our Charity Carol Service at the Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, and our Annual Theatre Production at The Albany Theatre. We have also performed cabarets at the fantastic Toulouse Lautrec and The Stockwell Playhouse. These productions give the children the opportunity to showcase all their hard work and to shine like the stars they are. We strive to treat each child equally and therefore give every child an opportunity to perform on their own, parents love it.
Musical Mayhem teachers are trained industry professionals, DBS checked, have public liability insurance, and are covid safety trained. They have extensive experience with children and although many are still performing professionally, they have an equal passion for teaching. At Musical Mayhem Theatre Academy, classes have 2 teachers, a Singing teacher and a Dance teacher and they co teach Drama together. Our teachers have so much fun teaching and treat every child like the wonderful individuals they are.
Musical Theatre is a great way for children to build character, gain confidence, make friends, get fit & just have lots of fun!! We encourage individuality and think performing arts is a great way for children to express themselves and find some release in our wonderful, weird and stressful world. Whether your child is a budding broadway star, or an absolute beginner who loves to have a sing in the shower, these classes are perfect. Learn and have fun all at the same time with Musical Mayhem.
Musical Mayhem Miniatures
Daytime classes for babies - 5 year olds
Musical Theatre is fun for all ages, so why not bring your little one to one of our daytime classes and share the fun. These specialised classes are perfect for babies - 5 year olds. Our classes are divided into age appropriate groups, to ensure your child is given tailor made activities to not only have a wonderful time, but to also encourage development.
In lessons we sing, dance, play, use lots of props and sensory equipment, have messy play, arts and crafts and have lots of fun. Currently for covid safety, parents are asked to purchase their very own bag full of exciting props
Musical Theatre is a great way to stimulate and educate children, help them gain confidence, make friends & just have lots of fun!
Its fun for the grown ups as well as the little ones as they stay for the entire class and join in the Mayhem. And why not after the lesson, go for a coffee with the other families and get to know other families in the area. We understand how important it is for our little ones and grown ups to socialise.
Musical Mayhem Dance Fitness
Dance classes for adults of all abilities.
In September 2020 a few Musical Mayhem parents approached Lyndsey saying they were jealous of their children having all the fun and desperate to be part of Musical Mayhem classes. This was the start of Musical Mayhem Dance Fitness. Thursday evenings is now a fun dancing evening for local adults, but don’t worry if you don’t have children at Musical Mayhem you are still welcome to join the fun.
We start off with a warm up, a few strengthening exercises and then learn a dance routine. Each week the dance routine will consist of moves previously learnt, with a high cardio element to burn off those extra calories.
It is an extremely social class and we have so much fun and there is a trip to the pub after! Not too be missed
